FAQ

What do I need to bring with me for a course?

We would recommend that you bring a blanket, cushions, yoga mat, and anything else that would aid you in doing some of the guided practices as we have a limited supply. Something to drink but tea and coffee will be provided, handouts will be given after each session, and links to download media files.

How long is the course?

Most courses are 8 weeks long and each session has a duration of 2 hours, with a  days retreat half way through. Our introductory course is 3 hours in length. Courses can also be tailored to suit individual organisations.

What are the benefits of practicing Mindfulness?

There are thousands of peer reviewed scientific papers which prove that Mindfulness enhances mental and physical wellbeing and reduces chronic pain, anxiety and improves the immune system. It has been proven to improve mood, quality of life in chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, lower back pain, IBS and it improves control of blood sugar in type II diabetes. Stress, depression and irritability all decrease with regular sessions of Mindfulness Meditation.
